What My Process Looks Like

I’m always excited whenever anyone asks me to take their picture!

My number one rule of this whole process is for it to be easy and enjoyable.

Getting Started

Call me, text me, email me, instant message me, let’s talk! What are you getting pictures taken of and for? Let’s go over all of the details like location, how many edited pictures you want, how many people are in the pictures… the more details I have before we meet for pictures, the better!

Booking & Payment

I’m available for photoshoots Sunday through Thursday from 8:00am-7:00pm and Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. I take Saturday off as a Sabbath to go to church and enjoy time with my family.

Payments are due prior to or at your photoshoot appointment. You are welcome to request more edited pictures than what is in your package.

One additional edited picture is $15, five additional edited pictures $60, and ten edited pictures $100.

Getting Your Picture Taken, Edited and Returned To You

We meet at your location. I get out my gear and you show off! Guaranteed there will be lots of smiles and laughing to be had. I may ask you to turn your face, open or close your eyes and other small tips, but remember you are already amazing – it’s my job to capture just how amazing you are!

Hopefully at the end of our appointment we will have time to sit down and look at all of your pictures. The precious, the good, the bad, and the ugly moments all at once! If we can, we will choose all of the pictures you would like me to edit.

Or, we decided to take pictures until the last minute and we’re off to the races again. Not to worry! I will upload all of your clear pictures to a Dropbox folder that you can choose from. You can let me know which pictures you want by telling me the picture number, so I’ll know exactly which pictures you want. Example: IMG_0123 or 0123.

After our photoshoot appointment, I will make a Dropbox folder to hold ALL of the clear pictures from your photoshoot. There you will be able view AND download your pictures to your device.

Ideally you will be able to choose all of the pictures you would like me to edit within two weeks. My goal is to get all of your edited images back to you within a week of getting your finalized list. Time may very depending on how many pictures are requested. Editing is an art and takes time, so please keep this in mind when making your appointment if your on a tight timeframe.

Let’s say there are a lot of gems taken and there are at least 5 pictures that you would like to have edited in addition to your package. I’m super happy to do that! Just let me know and I’ll add them to your ‘Edited’ Dropbox folder after I’ve received payment and have been able to edit them.

Yes, you get to keep all of the clear pictures from your photoshoot for personal use! I totally get wanting your kiddo’s funny face as the background on your phone, but wanting the one where they look sweet edited to share with family and friends. Enjoy your cute funny face! Let’s chat if you’re going to use them for commercial use, please. Don’t be rude and abuse it so it goes away, please, please, please!

Feeling Nervous?

So many of my friends and family are kind of nervous because they haven’t gotten pictures taken since… their school pictures or at the last family reunion. Pictures can be scary and frustrating- I totally get it. I prefer to be behind the camera myself.

But pictures of you aren’t necessarily for you. They are for your kids, your parents and grandparents. They are for inspiring your loved ones and community into the actions and decisions of being the best they can be.

So I get being nervous, but you are an inspiration to a lot of people!

It is my job to capture you as such! So take a deep breath, smile and I promise we will have fun!
